Terms of use

1. Adult accounts and account security

You must be at least 18 and legally old enough to use the service where you live. An account is for your own adult use; children do not sign in. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and contact support if you suspect unauthorized access. An age declaration is not identity or age verification by Pifello.

Share invitations only with people you intend to invite. Do not sell accounts, impersonate someone, misuse another person’s credentials, or evade a restriction through a different account.

2. Messaging and coordination

Pifello helps adults exchange messages and organize personal, friend, work and family plans. You choose the audience for a plan or request. A private group can still contain people who copy or disclose information; review recipients before sharing.

A pickup or playdate agreement records the participants’ planning choices. It does not verify identity, guardianship, school-release authority, driving qualifications, insurance, suitability or actual supervision. Confirm these arrangements directly with the responsible people. Pifello does not provide transport, childcare, emergency response or a guarantee that another participant will attend.

These practical responsibilities do not remove Pifello’s own duties under applicable law.

3. Your content and the permission needed to provide the service

You retain ownership of your content. Share only material you have the right to use and personal information you are authorized to disclose, including workplace and child-related information.

By agreeing to these Terms, you grant Pifello a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence limited to hosting, storing, reproducing, transmitting, displaying and technically processing your content to provide the features and audiences you choose, maintain security and handle authorized support or safety reviews. Necessary service providers may process it for those purposes; this is not permission to sell it, use it in unrelated advertising or train general-purpose AI models.

The licence ends when the relevant content is deleted from the service, except to the extent necessary to complete deletion from retained copies or satisfy a specific lawful retention obligation. Other people’s independent copies and contributions are not transferred to us or removed by that licence ending. The Privacy notice explains retention and deletion.

Pifello’s software, branding and original design remain with their respective owners. Your permitted app use does not transfer those rights. Any applicable app-store licence is separate from these service terms; these Terms do not replace Apple’s standard licence with a custom EULA.

4. Acceptable use and concerns

Follow the Community standards, which form part of these Terms. Threats, harassment, child exploitation, non-consensual intimate material, doxxing, fraud, spam, unlawful content and unauthorized access are prohibited. Do not bypass access controls, scrape private information or use a shared group to circumvent someone’s contact block.

Live in-app report intake is currently unavailable. You can raise concerns by email as explained in the Community standards, including without an account. Do not send illegal imagery, passwords or verification codes to support.

5. Availability, changes and fees

This is a private test service. Features may change, maintenance may interrupt access and errors may occur. Keep independent copies of information you cannot afford to lose, and do not rely on Pifello as the only way to communicate urgent changes.

The current pilot has no paid subscription or purchase feature. Participating does not authorize future charges. Any paid offer would need its price, renewal and cancellation terms presented before a separate purchase.

6. Leaving and service restrictions

You may stop using Pifello. Signing out or uninstalling does not delete an account. See account and data help for controls and the email request route. Our account-deletion policy removes the departing adult’s own message text and personal plan details while preserving other people’s contributions and shared structure, subject to the limited retention described in the Privacy notice. Automatic account-deletion execution is currently unavailable; a request is not a confirmation of completion.

We may take proportionate action to address unlawful activity, a material violation or a security threat, including restricting relevant content or access where available. A complaint count alone is not proof of wrongdoing. We explain a decision and offer reconsideration by email where lawful and safe. The pilot does not offer every restriction or appeal control inside the app.

7. Responsibility, disputes and legal rights

The service is operated from New Jersey for the current U.S. pilot. Applicable federal and state laws, including mandatory consumer protections, continue to apply. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or releases Pifello from responsibilities imposed by law.

You may raise a dispute with legal@pifello.com or support@pifello.com without giving up a right to contact a regulator or seek an available court remedy. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, an exclusive court, a monetary liability cap or a blanket indemnity.

8. Changes and agreement

We identify each published version and date and make the full documents available before requesting agreement. We explain material changes and request renewed agreement when required. Reading a page, opening an email or already having an account is not proof of acceptance.

Agreement to the Terms and Community standards is separate from presenting the Privacy notice. Optional device permissions and other optional consents remain separate. This website does not collect contract acceptance. Publishing it does not activate an agreement requirement in an installed app or prevent someone from exercising legal rights.
