Private iPhone pilot · Help & contact

A little help with
your everyday.

Find your way around Pifello, check a setting or tell us what could work better.

Welcome to the pilot.

Pifello is currently available to invited participants through TestFlight on iPhone. There is no public App Store download yet.

  1. Install Pifello using the TestFlight access provided to you.
  2. Open the app and sign in with your Pifello account, or create an adult account and verify your email.
  3. Create a Friends, Work or Family group, or use a privately shared invite code to join one.
  4. Start a conversation or create a plan. Check the audience before saving.

Your Pifello account is separate from your Apple account. Use the email address and password you chose inside Pifello.

Choose your circle.

Conversations and invitations

Each group has its own conversation and shared plans. Use a direct conversation to message another adult one-to-one. Share group invite codes privately: anyone with a usable code can try to join that group.

Plans and availability

Choose Only you for a private plan, or select a group to share it with its members. Review the time zone and place before saving. Availability is shared separately; an empty part of someone’s calendar does not mean they are free.

Children’s activities and private requests

A child’s private menu uses a first name and a preset avatar. Link class or activity groups to find the relevant adults and plans. Children do not have accounts or profile photos.

For a pickup, dropoff or playdate, choose the other adult and review the names, time and place you’ll share. Important changes need agreement again. Confirm school permissions, supervision and the actual handover directly with the people involved.

Updates, when you want them.

  1. Open Your space → Notifications.
  2. Choose Messages, Plans or Private requests.
  3. Tap Enable on this phone and respond to the iPhone permission prompt.
  4. Check for “This phone is registered for your selected updates.”

You can turn off a phone without changing your preferences for other phones. Notification previews use a generic alert rather than names, message text, child details or locations.

I’m not receiving alerts. What should I check?

Check that at least one category is selected and that this phone is registered. If permission was denied, use Open system settings in Pifello to review it. Also check iPhone notification and Focus settings. Use Refresh status when you return to the app.

If Pifello says delivery is not active yet, saving preferences does not mean alerts are being sent. Include the exact status text when contacting support.

Your account and your information.

Newer app versions include data-copy and deletion screens; installed versions may differ. Account-deletion execution is still disabled during verification. Signing out or uninstalling does not delete an account.

Read account and data help, or review the Privacy notice, Terms of use and Community standards.

A few common questions.

Can I use Pifello without sharing my whole calendar?

Yes. You choose whether a plan is private or shared with a particular group. Availability is a separate choice; creating a plan does not automatically share it with every circle.

Can another parent see my child’s whole menu?

The child menu and its group links are private to the adult who created them. When you send a private request, you choose which first names and avatars to include and review the details shared with the other adult.

How do I manage unwanted contact?

Open Contact settings from a conversation, group member or private request to block an adult. Blocking stops private contact in both directions. Shared groups, history and existing agreements remain available.

Where can I report a concern?

The relevant message, adult account, group, plan or private request has a Report action. The app tells you whether submissions are available. Pilot report intake is not yet open; you can contact safety@pifello.com about a concern. Pifello is not an emergency service; for immediate danger, contact your local emergency service.

What information helps with a bug report?

Your iPhone model, iOS version, Pifello version, the steps that led to the issue, and what you expected to happen. Avoid including passwords, verification codes, children’s details or private conversation content.

Let’s figure it out.
